Soldier of the Rose Wind

I’m on a roll with half-way decent pictures this month, it seems. I just had this urge to draw Sailor Aeolus, mostly for the people who watch me primarily for my Sailormoon picture. And because, why not? She’s fun to draw, and she’s pretty now.

The title refers to her official senshi title. Her main color is copper rose, and she creates winds of the same color when she uses her attack. Hence, Rose Wind. It’s dorky and cool enough to work.

I have to admit, I love the fact that =SenshiStock has a cat. Then I get to reference a real cat, and make them look half way like a cat. Okay, Zephyrus doesn’t look great, but she looks better then if I hadn’t been looking at the silly kitty.

Over all, happy with the way this turned out. Was debating about the background, but decided to go with it. (Not that it’s bad, I just wasn’t sure if I wanted one at all.) She’s standing on a starship orbiting her home planet of Aeolus, by the way.

I am in total love with this uniform. >.<
