Description

Edit 6-12-15: Changed Elizabeth to be more 'accurate' (although I'm not sure how accurate her outfit actually is).  Also wasn't feeling Lily's outfit, so I changed it slightly.

Edit 5-20-15:  Changed Lily's hairstyle, as this is what anijel decided on instead.

For once, this isn't callisto-chan's fault, but rather anijel's.  Although I'm sure she's happy with the blame.  ;P

So basically what happened was anijel randomly decided to revamp two of her vampire story characters, that being Lily and Jayson (now Thorn).  And at first, she was going to use my Purebred universe, but we've since figured out she's gotta do her own thing.  But that won't stop the crossover pictures!  I immediately knew I had to do something as soon as she mentioned her muse was bugging her, and this was the result.

Elizabeth came about because I figured it was only fair, since she's the main female character from her vampire story as well.  Literally.  Spoiler, but she's actually the narrator.  Plus, she fit the scheme of human in love with a vampire.  Granted, she sticks out like a sore thumb because she's all gothy and stereotypical, whereas Ryan and Lily are just...normal ass girls.  But that's all right.

I do love how each girl has her own individual style here.  anijel mentioned that Lily's actually a sneaker girl, but I agreed that hiking boots would look cute what that outfit.  Lily is a sickly girl with rich parents, so she pretty much gets what she wants, and while she's casual, I do see her as trendy because of that.  And because anijel tends towards trendy moreso than I do.  ^^; I like the jean jacket, which would be a first for me.  It's so...'90's, but Lily wears it well.

Ryan over there is completely causal, despite the fact that she's rich as well, but that's because Ryan's more of a natural and tomboyish sort of girl.  Not at the point where she is a tomboy, but rather that she seeks comfortable clothes and doesn't mind getting rough and dirty.

And then there's Elizabeth.  I sort of wish I had asked callisto-chan about her before I did this, but I wanted it to be a surprise.  :D  But apparently, she's thinking she'd be more of a casual goth, wearing something like a black tee shirt with jean shorts and fishnets, and maybe black boots, and goth jewelry...and what I'm picturing, I wish I drew.  >.O  Instead, I looked up a cute gothic lolita dress, even though it's not her actual style, thinking maybe callisto-chan will make her go for this style instead of the crazy corsets to make her crazy skinny.  And it worked, since she decided she does wear things like this sometimes.  Just not all the time.

It's sort of funny, because this sort of reminds me of another picture I did with Ryan and callisto-chan and anijel's characters, One of These Things, although the theme wasn't the same.  Still...

I really love how this turned out.  :D  Gotta love when awesome happens.

Ahaha I can't help but love the differences between Elizabeth and Lily/Ryan. :XD: Though to be fair, Lily/Ryan's stories are about normal girls falling in love with 'normal' boys (who happen to be vampires), whereas the whole Elizabeth/Thanassis thing was supposed to be creepy and weird, as a sort of spin on the creepiness of the Bella/Edward relationship but...yeah, that's besides the point. The po9int is they all look great, even if Elizabeth's gothing up the picture with her gothiness. :P (Then again, your other idea (Anselme) would've stood out too, so I suppose MBS is destined to stand out no matter what. ;P)

I'm actually pleasantly surprised how Lily's outfit turned out. Jean jackets also seem a bit...dated? to me, but at the same time, Lily pulls it off incredibly well. Also I'm not up on the current trends, so for all I know, jean jackets are making a comeback. It also stands out against all the soft beiges and ivories of her outfit. (I think I could figure out a way to do the lace shorts, now that I'm looking at them -- it would just take some layering >.O) I agree that the hiking boots work with that outfit too -- it's funny, since you think delicate lace shorts wouldn't go well with hiking boots, but..somehow they do. :D I'm still having trouble adjusting to brunette Lily, but that's only because I still somewhat picture Lily as her first incarnation (i.e., with platinum blonde hair). Which is terrible of me, I know, but I can't help it. Clearly more pictures of this Lily are needed to shake that idea. >.> I do like her -- she looks young and...well, sickly, what with that pallor. But trendy as well, what with being rich and all. It seems like it goes with the territory.

Ryan's rich as well, but I'd argue it's a different kind of rich -- i.e., on a small-town sort of level. Also given how isolated New Haven is, with their vampire defences, and I could see rich meaning little as far as fashion went. especially for someone tomboyish like Ryan. :P She looks nice as well. I kinda like how you seem to be putting her more deliberately in reds now. Older pictures seemed to fluctuate between lighter pinks and Ben's blue, but having her colour be a bold red amuses me. It suits her, don't get me wrong, but it just seems really badass for someone who seems pretty mellow. Also it's the colour of blood which is mostly why I find it funny. I'm aware it's a stupid reason. I've said before I like her hair and outfit, but it's worth repeating. I just really like the braid, since it's practical and cute at the same time. The hoodie/jacket is also a nice combination. She looks comfortable and casual, which is exactly how Ryan should be. >.>

Haha yeah, I'm not sure, right now, what "casual goth" would mean for Elizabeth; all I know is that her style is naturally very feminine even without the goth look. Considering I'm thinking of aging her down to, like 18-19, I think a casual look would be more within her means anyway, and practical for everyday wear, compared to the more lavish outfits she had before. Butyeah, I do like the gothic lolita look, since it's kinda similar to the historically-inspired look she had before. The darker skin also looks surprisingly good on her. I kinda thought of that because it amused me trying to picture herself putting on white makeup to make herself look paler, and kinda struggling with it because her skin tone naturally tends towards something tanner/more olive. But I do like this, and it was a pleasant surprise to see her included! I didn't realize you'd talked anijel out of having Lily be in the Purebred universe, so I thought for sure it was just gonna be Lily/Ryan, because that would make sense. Imagine my surprise when Elizabeth shows up as well! :D That was pretty awesome, and I love how she looks here. If I get the urge to draw some MBS stuff Oh, who am I kidding, I already have that urge, I'll blame you and anijel. I have a feeling this might spark off another temporary vampire craze. ;P

I love this! They all look great together, and even if they (and their stories) are drastically different, that doesn't matter when it comes to a crossover picture. :D It's gorgeous, and I love it so much! Thank you!
