The Cartwright Family

Yay, Purebred art. My muse has this weird thing now that it starts stirring on this whenever I decide to mention it. Nothing major, but it makes me wanna draw Ryan and Benjamin. So…I did.

But, since I have so many pictures of just Ryan and Benjamin, I came up with the thought to add cute little baby Cartwright’s as well. Hee. Just to add that much more adorableness to it.

Now, you’ll probably notice something really off about the picture, mostly involving Ryan. One major issue I’ve been having with the story is the fact that I constantly go ‘OMG, I can’t believe I turned her into a vampire at the end!’. I mean, duh, of course I did, because how else would Ryan and Benjamin live happily ever after? It just…annoys me, and one thing my muse is considering is trying to figure out a way to end the story without turning her. It’s…not working out at the moment, but it’s trying.

So I figured I’d do this picture in that sense, because I wanted to. (Ryan would be, um, 24 in this.) Human Ryan just makes more sense to me, I guess. Also, I think most stories of this nature have the protagonist being turned in the end, and I was thinking maybe I could be different, and have her remain human. Of course, then she couldn’t have her kick-ass revenge, but that’s just a matter of figuring out how I can do that while she’s still human.

Like I said, it’s just a thought. ^^:

In any case, don’t let this picture fool you. Arianna is in fact not the shy one, it’s just that she tends to hang around her mother a lot. Devin, on the other hand, doesn’t really care, and I guess that comes off as being more brave than Ari. And, of course, they are at the beach, because it’s pretty much ‘their’ place. Hee.

I like it. The girls turned out fabulous (and Ari is just ridiculously cute), whereas the boys turned out…not as well, but still good. (Dev’s shirt said ‘Geek in Training’. So true. >.<) So nice to draw Purebred art, even if it’s so rare now.
