Description

This is actually something I threw together when I finished my Livestreaming and decided that I wanted to continue for a little bit more. I didn't have anything that I could work on, so I ended up finding an old piece of this character's previous design that i had liked, and quickly traced it and added her updated design.

Thankfully her new design's ridiculously simple, because I was able to have it sketched and inked within a half an hour. Which is impressive even for me (although, in my defense, I did say i traced it, so all the hard work was already done).

So here's mystery girl #1 along with a bit of a clue about her kingdom. yes, they have flying ships. No, they probably don't actually look like ships. This is the best I could do with what I had. I also sepia toned it, since that's what I had done with the original picture's background. >.O Also because her kingdom is Victorian based, and they were just starting to have photographs back then, and certainly not in color. Plus, it just looks neat, and doesn't take so much away from the character.

The character herself turned out really well. :D I really do love that dress, for some reason, despite the fact that it is simple. It's just...pretty. And Victorian. And awesome. She is, certainly, my most interesting character design, that's for sure. >.>

I might make a series of this. Unsure at the moment.

Half an hour? I can't remember where you found the time to do that, but that's amazingly impressive, even with tracing! It does help that her outfit is pretty simple, the way you draw it (you don't detail the lace underneath the shrug and such), especially compared to the earlier version. >.> Not to mention a lot of the detail is squishes into a tiny space up top, and the rest is a long, flowing skirt that doesn't have much detail by comparison, so I can sort of see how that would be possible. >.>

Ha ha, Reverse Persey looks pretty neat here! The hair's always a big draw, sure (and it's not just the blonde, but the ringlets too!), but the whole thing looks pretty cute, particularly the outfit. I especially love how the skirt flows. It might be a really simple, minor thing, but it looks very pretty. Though the whole outfit is pretty, so I'm not sure if liking the skirt really means anything in that context. ;P How can I pick out one detail that I like when the whole thing is gorgeous, after all? ;P

I like the little snippet of the background. Working in sepia tone makes sense (it gives everything that aged, old-fashioned look) and it's an interesting little experiment for you, to boot! The ships...well, they seem a little odd to me, but that's because I'm not used to the idea of flying ones, that's all. ;P But the concept is both simple yet effective, and it's a nice way to spice up an otherwise very simple picture -- the little hint of a background is very intriguing, and more than enough to give Reverse Persey/this image a bit more context than if you'd just left the background completely blank.

It's really cute! I wouldn't mind taking another stab at something like this -- and if you don't want to go with, say, Tellenia, you could always do one for the kingdoms we already know about -- like Cassie for Asteria, or Persey or Juliette for Ithiya. It's such a simple concept that it can work with all of them, if you like. >.> Love the pic! It's very cute! :D
