Never Google ‘skin burn’ to get a reference. >.< Unless you like that sort of thing.

This originally started out as just Shinzui, so that I could redo an icon on Livejournal. But then Sethos demanded to be put in as well. -_- He does that, I noticed. So I reluctantly agree, since I am a bit opposed to doing just Shinzui pictures, for some odd reason. Doesn’t seem fair to the others that all I draw is my own character.

Shinzui herself turned out adorable. But Sethos turned out the best I’ve ever drawn him. I love male references.

So anyway, I had Shinzui looked adorable and surprised about something, and Sethos brooding behind her, for some unknown reason. I think he was originally just annoyed at being in the same picture as Shinzui when she was like that. Then I did the background, but there was this large dead space there, so I got the idea to put the first Sethos/Shinzui picture I did there.

So now he’s just annoyed at being in the same picture as his former self. The guy was just such a pansy, helping people and whatnot. (Although we all know he’s going to be a paramedic someday. Hee.) However, I think this is the first picture where I got his personality right.

And Shinzui’s still just being adorable. I am so proud of her and looking like she’s actually sitting on that bench thing, which does in fact look like a bench thing. (For those of you in the RP, in case your wondering why Shinzui has short sleeves, I decided that some costume variation would be okay…later. See, this would be after she masters the sword, where her sleeves would get in the way. She doesn’t have her stockings, though, because the artist was being lazy.)

I’m also happy with Sethos’ burn scar. I didn’t get a very good look at the references I was using, as it was making me sick, but I got the general idea, and just…did something that ended up looking sort of right. I suppose if I didn’t say it was a burn scar, you wouldn’t be able to tell that’s what it is, but once you know, its easy to tell.

I wish I was better at backgrounds, like, real backgrounds, because this would be so awesome. Not that it doesn’t look awesome like this. But think of how much more awesome it would be with a proper background.

I really should start doing pictures that don’t involve Shinzui/Sethos. The other two girls need some love, too.
