Ryan and Benjamin

Ha, for some reason I would’ve swore you’d work on a Ben comparison next, but I understand that you can’t say no to a random Ryan/Ben picture! It seems like a lot of Ryan/Ben pictures have come randomly that way, but I like it. You can kinda see their designs/your art style evolve throughout the years and rewrites, and this is just the latest version of that. >.>

Poor Ben. He just can’t handle a girl’s legs, even if they’re covered. Well, Ryan’s legs, anyway. Summertime must be hell for him, what with all the skirts and shorts and capris and all those items designed to expose the skin. Meanwhile Ryan has no idea what gets in to him when the summer hits. I half-expect her to conclude, once she figures out he’s a vampire, that maybe the summertime makes all vampires go a little nuts like that.

I think the two of them look really cute together…but they always do. I always love the pink(red)/blue colour combo they have going on. They’re not complimentary, but they do look good together, which is the important part. It took me longer than it should have to realize Ryan was wearing a hoodie/jacket over a dress rather than wearing a grey skirt like I thought. The outfit looks really cozy and warm in a fall/winter kind of way. I know it’s probably intended to be a summer pic, but all the dark colours and long sleeves make me think winter, or at least fall. I like the idea of Ben thinking that phew, he’s finally adjusted to the whole skirt thing…except it’s winter and he won’t see them again. Then, two weeks later, Ryan shows up wearing this to school. He thinks, after a summer of dealing with this, he’d be prepared, but no, he still blushes like crazy.

I like her boots though. They kinda remind me of these boots (in brown) that I found, except those are knee-high and Ryan’s aren’t. They’re cute. I like that look.

I like Ben’s style too. It’s nice to see how he, too, has variants on his usual outfit (as in, t-shirts instead of a button-down and tie). Somehow I’m not surprised he’d go for nerdy shirts.I think that one has to do with computers? (I can’t quite tell and can’t remember if I saw that part on the stream). That’s…appropriate. I bet he has a ton of those; Robert probably gets a kick out of them. Like Ryan, he also has his hoodie. I kinda like that they have, like, one item of clothing that they will absolutely not part with. It sounds a little dorky and cute all at the same time.

Nevertheless, I love seeing these guys together! They always look great together, and seeing them with their new-ish designs is even better!
