Our Song

Description

I so didn’t think I’d actually be able to pull this off, but I am so glad I decided to attempt it, anyway. It turned out really cute, even though it looks like a lot of the pictures I’ve done of them.

But it’s completely different, because, see, they’re dancing. ;P

I got the idea the other day when ~anijel mentioned something about Today was a Fairytale by Taylor Swift, which is the song Jin and Jacey dance to at the school dance where they ‘hook up’. Immediately, I got the image of them randomly hearing the song in the apartment, and him dragging her into a dance. I don’t know if he’d actually do it, but it was cute, and I wanted to draw it.

So I did.

She’s giving him that look just because she can’t dance with her knee (because she literally tore up her knee), not because she doesn’t want to dance. This is just moments before she just laughs at him, and lets him attempt to twirl her around.

This is like the first time he doesn’t look weird next to her. ^^; I’m happy about that. And forgive the cop-out background. But I figured I used it a once before, and that I can use it again, since this is the picture version of her apartment. Hee.

Yay, squish. Squish is always good.

Might as well get it out of the way and exclaim how cute this is right off the bat. ;P Because it is, of course.

There's something about Jacey's pose and reluctant expression that I really like here. Jin looks good too (I especially like his shirt), but my eyes keep going back to Jacey, and I think it's her face that does it. Her legs seem a little long in comparison to Jin's, but that's okay. I like leggy people. ;P That brace doesn't look as cumbersome as I'd imagined; what a bonus for Jacey. ;P

The concept behind it is cute (there's that word again) too, even though Jin's being a bit of an idiot trying to get someone with a torn knee to dance. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right? :P

I like the picture. It's...wait for it...really cute and adorable. ;)
