Description
So, um...yeah. Basically I was putting these pictures up on the website, and I was sort of reminded that I didn't do Knight Selene, for whatever reason. Probably because she wasn't one of the main five, despite the fact that she ended up being an important Knight. She just...didn't show up that often, because I generally ended the version I was working on right after she was introduced. Silly me. 
So anyway, I thought it would neat do do a Knight Selene picture, mostly because I do still have her character in the story, albeit with a minor role. But then I got the idea to make Gabriella Selene instead, since Issadora (the old one) isn't exactly human anymore. And Gabby, well, is.
I really like how this turned out. Like with the others, I modified her uniform I bit, mostly because hers was plain with a transparent skirt until the main skirt. I like the idea of the ruffled skirt, better. Also changed her shoes to something cute, gave her a headband, changed her weapon, and gave her white tights because I thought just the shoes looked rather plain. She has a black undershirt rather than a white one only because her main color is white, and that would be too much white.
I really like how she turned out, and how she sort of looks like she's sort of saluting.
This one's certainly on par with the others and still makes me want to do a magical girl version of the story. :\

I second the cuteness (and the cute shoes, too 
) I also second the sudden urge to draw something magical girl, but that can't be helped.
Seriously though, she's very cute, and I like the idea of Gabby being Knight Selene (now that Issy's no longer human). I'd sort of forgotten about this little series, what with Purebred ending and starting up Earthia, but it's a neat addition to the series! Not to mention I love the slightly updated design -- as Sakky points out, the shoes are very cute (you seem to have a thing for designing cute footwear), and I like the double skirt. It looks a little nicer than a semi-transparent one, I think -- not to mention the colour scheme works very well together. (Okay, I know that's been around from other versions as well, but might as well point it out when I'm pointing out what I like!) I think Gabby's auburn hair contrasts very nicely with the dark blues and white colour scheme, actually. Not that it's strictly necessary to have colours that go well with hair or eye colour, but I always think it's a nice bonus when they do.
Also, the background is simple, but nice. If you can't tell, I really love the shade of blue you picked, and how well it contrasts with Gabby. So pretty...*_*
