Art Trade - Now What?

Description

My half of yet another art trade with ~callisto-chan, this one featuring our main female characters. This, sadly, I think is our last one. :( I think I should let her do art for her own story, hee.

I definitely feel like this is the best one out of the three we’ve done recently. I decided to actually take my time and do a descent background, although it’s probably not as good as it could be. But those books took a while, and I pleased with myself. They actually look really cool there. They have to be my favorite part. (I had planned on putting that weird book that keeps showing up around Christine on there, but realized I hadn’t done the perspective on the bookshelf right. Ah well.)

When I saw this pose, I thought it pretty much summed up Christine’s feelings for what’s happening up until now. And probably throughout the story. I really like how she turned out. She’s very pretty. Although she ended up a little long legged, and why the hell is she wearing summer clothes in the middle of a Canadian autumn? Crazy, I say, crazy!

But totally pretty. :D

I’m completely and utterly happy with this piece, and I hope ~callisto-chan likes it as much as I do.

Yeah, that's a pretty accurate summary of her feelings. What's going on? She has no idea, so she just goes with it. But apparently just going with it leads her to wear summer clothing in late autumn. ;P

Hee, I love this. Her pose and generally baffled expression are spot-on, and cute in their own way. And I love the background; it's so detailed! I'm impressed by all those books there; it must have taken a while. I think the bookcase's perspective looks fine, but then again, I didn't draw it, so maybe I'm less inclined to find problems with it.

I also love that shirt she's wearing. It's so cute. And her hair looks really nice too, especially the way it falls onto her shoulders. Hell, I love the whole picture. I don't think there's much else I can say without needlessly repeating myself.

I love it! Thank you so much! (And hee, I'd still be willing to do another art trade in the near future, once I move and get settled in a bit. I can't make any promises now -- I'd have to see how things work out -- but I'm always willing. >_> )
